Ancestor Pin....
This little angel I designed for my mother.. she collects angels and not just her grandkids either.. but I wanted to make her something unique that she would be proud to be the only one to ever own... I took my copper and just went to town on it designing as I went... I cut, etched, hammered, rivetted, hammered some more... then I cut, pattinaed discs and put initials on each one to represent all the grandkids and I wire wrapped in the wonky style ( wonky being off kilter, quirky and not exact because life is just NEVER EXACT and shouldn't be as it detracts from the beauty of the unusual) , I tilted her head, made a wire curled halo and then wire sewed it to the copper disc and then hung the initials as her skirt . I hammered in the letters in the body and etched the filigree into it as well as etching the wings.
