Etchings..

These are all samples of the etchings I am working on and I hope to have some of them prepped for jewelry soon, these were done on various metals, Brass, Nickel, and Copper and the effects were different for each. The non blackened tree one is on copper and I enamelled it with the torch to bring out thecolors of the metals underlying properties and it gave it a sunset- like effect that in person is much better than in pictures. The other tree one with the black that has a milky white background was on Brass and I torched it as well but the colors were not as dazzling in fact it made it whiter.

The Initial S one I am planning a intricate steampunk necklace from it as its my initial ( yes in game and out... ) and it was done on Nickel and then I did a pattina on it to age it.

The key to my heart piece was rivetted, etched, pattinaed, and wire wrapped and hopefully will be able to finish it as well into a slant hanging necklace .
